Sleeping in a house with no central heat in the middle of winter is a brutal experience, especially for a Canadian who just came from a hot, humid summer climate. Even worse than that? Putting freezing cold contact lenses into your eyes. Not very comfortable.

So you won't want to hear all about how Karyn, dad and I sat on lawn chairs down on our beach today before supper? Its a rare day when I can say Saskatchewan is warmer than almost anywhere else on the earth! Just had to make the most of the moment. (received your texts today). Glad you and Jude are having tons of fun.
