Leave me a comment and tell me whether you think I should do a bungy jump or a canyon swing in Queenstown. The bungy in question is the original NZ bungy, 43 metres above the Kawarau River. The canyon swing is a bit different - it's 109m high, and you jump off in one of a variety of styles (i.e. do a backflip, go off backwards, sideways, upside down, etc.), then freefall for 60m until you go into a 200m arc at 150km/hr. RIDICULOUS. I figure I'd better do one of the two, as I likely won't get this opportunity again. Plus, I've been feeling extra adventurous on this trip.
So, what would YOU do?

I think you should come home.
I looked up both on the internet and I think the canyon swing looks the most fun. Is Fiona doing one of these? When are you going to hang out in Tim Hortons and let me relax? : )
I think the canyon swing looks like a blast.
Holy &*^%!!!
Have you ever heard of lazing around drinking Daiquiri's instead??? Oh, you are your father's daughter. I guess if we have to choose - I go with your Dad - do the canyon swing!!
Luv Ya
Auoooooootia Daallllllle says I don't want to know what, when or where...phone me when you're feet aren't 3 miles in the air and you're back safe on solid ground!!! Wake me when it's over. I'm with Lori..brown cows all around!! And you really ARE your father's daughter!!! Love you and have a blast no matter what you choose!! :D
Do the cannon swing!! But go to the bathroom before you do it so that you don't pee your pants.
I think you should canyon swing. Bungee jumping can be done at the exhibition. Canyon swings require a canyon. THOSE, you don't find every day!

I'm not terribly adventurous anymore and I see this from a mother's viewpoint - so I vote that the plain ol'boring run-of-the-mill bungee jump would be good enough to give you an adrenalin rush (if the glacier hike didn't do that already) - love Auntie Janet
Hi Lauren! I think you should do both if you can, but if only one is possible, the canyon swing should be it. You can bungy at many places, but the swing might be more rare. Also, you can probably see more of what you're doing in the swing-thing(I think!) Anyways, that's my vote, andI'm sticking to it! Kelly finished his cross-Canada bike trip on Thursday. He called from Halifax and will be back on Vancouver Island by now, making plans to return to Korea sometime in the future. Nobody has heard fom Chris since the Scruffy Journals Part 1 was sent. Hope you are having a great time in NZ! Love, Auntie Linda
BUNGY JUMP!!!! its sooo much fun!
