I figured I'd make you wait for a day or 2 to post the videos, but you'll be pleased to know that I'm missing some of the party happening at the bar next door so that I can bring you this entertaining bit of media. I knew mom wouldn't sleep until she saw it! Hahaha. Hopefully the rest of you who voted on the Canyon Swing vs. Bungy Jump post can take a look at this to see what your votes helped convince me to do!
JUMP #1 = BACKWARDS (4:26pm)
I really wasn't kidding about the scream on the way down. Make sure your speakers are on and turned up (you can hear us talking about my music shoes and 8th note tattoo before the jump, and you can also hear me say "Am I actually supposed to go right now? Are you serious? Right now???.... K what do I do, just fall backwards and let go?!"). Haha. Brilliant.
JUMP #2 = HANDSTAND (5:25pm)
I have to explain part of this video before you see it. Right at the beginning of the video you see one of the guys behind me, giving the other guy a high-5. I will clarify that they did ask me in advance if they could take a "rude picture," and I thought it was rather funny so I agreed (maybe not classy, but funny). That's Fish in the background yelling "Hold that pose!" Sorry mom. Haha. At least Sarah was concerned that my mother would see that. Thanks Sarah!
So what's the verdict? Which one was more entertaining to watch? Which jump looked scarier? All thoughts, comments, etc. are welcome!!!! This has been a blast, and it has been SO fun to see all of the comments that you guys have left on my blog too! Cheers! Will update after the Milford Sound trip tomorrow. Speaking of which, I should get to bed! And you all back home should get ready for work... it's nearly 8am!

Its Monday a.m. and I have to be at work in 3 minutes...THAT certainly woke me! The first jump made my stomach turn as I knew it was your first jump. Both are great and the DVD's are worth every penny. Awesome!!!!!!!!! Now I can relax as I know you are going on a cruise today - a little easier for a mother's heart. : )
Oh my allah, you are an action junkie madwoman! That was absolutely incredible and I think I would have passed out just seeing you doing it rather, much less doing it myself! Incredible! And you went back for more!! :) Looking forward to the "screaming about it in person" version in a week or so! :)

Hey crazy woman! That looked like so much fun. Can't wait to see Fish's video. I'm so glad you two are having so much fun. It was awesome having you stay at the start of your journey, all your new adventures and fun times with other crazy people sure beats the boring nights with the Mansfields in Marlborough eh? Oct 23rd - Just looking back over some of your key blog entries from NZ...what an adventure you've had! I still think its neat that I woke up with my stomach turning and had all sorts of nervous energy at precisely 10:24 p.m. Saskatchewan time (4:24 p.m. NZ time). The time the video started rolling is shown as 4:26...our best case of "synchronicity" yet!!
